About Manchester Youth Zone
NORTH WEST CHARITY OF THE YEAR
Manchester Youth Zone is a registered charity founded on the belief that all young people should be able to access the same opportunities.
Through Manchester Youth Zone, young people aged 8-19 (up to 25 with additional needs) are provided with the tools to:
- Raise and achieve their aspirations
- Develop their confidence
- Create friendships
- Empower them to fulfill their potential
- Ultimately helping them to lead healthier, happier lives.

SOMEWHERE TO GO – A safe place that’s open when schools are shut
SOMETHING TO DO – Manchester Youth Zone offers over 20 different activities per evening
SOMEONE TO TALK TO – From relationships with Youth Workers on session, to one to one support from volunteer mentors – every voice is heard.
With a wealth of sport and creative activities, Manchester Youth Zone currently welcomes almost 1,000 young people each week. Working closely with members to raise their aspirations, the Youth Zone offers a number of targeted provisions to provide additional support to those who need it.
