About Sara Boswell

Sara is the Director of the Centre for Sustainable Innovation at Salford Business School (the University of Salford) and has a background in both academia and industry within digital, innovation and skills.

She has designed, managed, and delivered multiple programmes, supporting businesses to initiate new business models and successfully take new products and services to market by developing and embedding innovation processes.

As an experienced strategic project manager, Sara has recently led several large scale projects such as the Centre for Digital Innovation and the Greater Manchester AI Foundry, supporting the adoption of technologies such as AI, cyber, immersive tech and industrial digitisation to enhance or develop new products and services, stimulating growth.
